The mound is located ~0,5 km northeast of the village, on the western shore of Kamanis lake. Set on a large hill. To the west, the mound reaches the adjacent hills. The summit area contains the remains of a cultural layer. Molded, striated and smooth pottery was found. The mound was plowed, and no remains of fortifications are visible. The ancient settlement of Bendžiukai is located ~0,1 km northwest of the mound. The settlement has been plowed for a long time. In 1988, on the surface of the cultural layer, molded, striped and rough ceramics, iron slag and burnt stones of the 1st millennium were found.
