The mound is located ~1.3 km southwest of the village, 0.1 km north of the eastern shore of Lake Krūmiškiai. Located on the higher part of an elongated hill. At the south-eastern foothill of the mound are the remains of an ancient settlement. Fragments of molded, rough, and smooth pottery were found.
