In Molėtai, near the Pastovėlis lake, there is a place called Pavasarininkai Hill. Meetings of Lithuanian Catholic Youth "Pavasaris" Union organizations were held here in the interwar years. A cross was placed on the top of the hill, near which the participants swore to be virtuous, honest and honorable children of their nation. This is how it acquired sacredness, like some kind of castle hill.
