Get to Know Labanoras Better! – a hiking tour around Labanoras Regional park
We invite groups of children for an educational hike around the Labanoras regional park.
During the hike, you will get to know the natural wealth of the Labanoras forest, the life path of trees, learn to count their years, hug pine trees that are several hundred years old, visit Stirniai burial mounds, admire the forest lakes and wonderful views, and experience many other interesting things. The hike will be led by Gediminas, a fourth-generation forester who was born, raised, and currently lives here.
The hike is about 8 km, the time to finish it is about 4-5 hours (depending on the age of the children).
If you wish, after the hike, children can enjoy grilled sausages and tea made with herbs collected during the hike in the gazebo of the homestead.
You can choose a sightseeing trip with an overnight stay in a rural tourism homestead. Then, after traveling around the Labanoras forest during the day, having eaten and rested, late in the evening you can go to the Molėtai Astronomical Observatory and observe the starry night sky, and the next day - visit the Mindūnai Observation Tower, the Lake Fishing and Hunting Museum, and the Molėtai Tourism and Business Information Center can offer you a virtual educational space "Molėtai kitaip", where with virtual reality helmets you will go back 3000 years and travel through the history of the Molėtai region.

Hike - 8-12 euros per child (a group of at least 20 children is preferred);
