The mound is located ~ 0.5 km northeast of the village, on the western shore of Kamanis lake. Set on a large hill. To the west, the mound reaches the adjacent hills. The summit area contains the remains of a cultural layer. Moulded striated and plain pottery was found. The mound was ploughed, and no remains of fortifications are visible. The ancient settlement of Bendžiukai is located ~0.1 km northwest of the mound. The settlement has been ploughed for a long time. In 1988, 1st millennium moulded striated and rough pottery, iron slag, and burnt stones were found on the surface of the cultural layer.
